WELCOME TO OASIS
Owner, Martha Hall was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has been a ceramist and potter since 2013. Hall first learned ceramics in high school and has loved it ever since. In 2021, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Honors College and College of Fine Arts, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculptural Practices and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. Just before graduating, she embarked on building a studio where she could continue her own practice, teach others, and create a space that could foster community. In addition to Oasis Pottery, Hall is a member of the Nevada Clay Guild and a full time high school ceramics teacher at her alma mater.

Since 2021, the studio has expanded quickly from 400 square feet to 2,300! The space includes 20 wheels, 2 slab rollers, North star extruders, one pug mill, two large sinks, 17+ dip glazes, tons of tools, and space to work. All work is fired in electric kilns (Skutt and Paragon). An onsite gallery features member and instructor made work, some for display and some for sale. The studio's retail supply store, 2000 square feet, also holds distributorships for Aardvark, Georgies, New Mexico Clay Co, AMACO, Skutt, Cress, Speedball, and more! Check out our retail space during any of our open hours! Members and students work with mostly stoneware, but earthenware, low-fire clay, is also available. Raku and visiting artist workshops occur on a quarterly basis and provide new and exciting techniques!
Members have access to the studio from 7:00am-11:00pm daily for open studio, independent work. Hand-building and wheel throwing classes are offered throughout the week as drop ins for newbies and those looking to try it just once, but packages of classes are also available! Martha and a team of talented artists teach these classes! Each instructor has a unique background and connection to clay. Check out their profiles below!
